TV spots are advertisements that are specifically designed to be broadcast on television. These advertisements are displayed during commercial breaks between television shows, news broadcasts, and other programming.
Spots analysis of TV spots includes identifying the Gross Rating Points (GRP) which measures the size of the audience reached by the advertisement. This analysis may also include the specific channel and program the advertisement aired on, the daypart (time of day) it aired, and other factors that may impact its effectiveness.
